There’s been plenty of Town Bike on the airwaves recently.
Steve Lamacq is a fan of ‘Jerk With New Shoes’ and played it on his Radio 1 INMWT and 6 Music shows.
Huw Stephens ran a feature on the label, and gave ‘Prom Night’ a spin on his 1FM Introducing show AND included it on his BBC Introducing podcast.
John Kennedy on XFM blasted out ‘Bad Girls’ to London and Manchester’s indie kids on his brilliant X-Posure show.
We’ve had some fab support from Town Bike’s local station, BBC Radio Merseyside, where DJ Roger Hill on the PMS show has been playing pretty much the whole album!
Dandelion Radio, the internet station inspired by John Peel, have been hitting “Go! Fight! Win!” HARD across the schedules, with half the shows picking up tracks from the album, especially Jeff Grainger who made it his featured album for the month. Wow, thanks!
Plus we’re hoping to get played on our home turf of Radio Wales soon! And Johnner on Somer Valley FM too! Good work fella!
All this, and we’re planning to release the first Super Kawaii POP!Cast very very shortly… stay tuned / don’t touch that dial etc etc…
If you wanna play our stuff on the radio, don’t wait around and ask us, GO FOR IT! But do let us know. And also, if you;d like to interview the Bike, or have them in session for you, then drop us a line.
As Sarah Town Bike says “Basically we want to tell everyone how brilliant we are, how awesome our new album is, how amazing our new label is, and maybe say a couple of controversial things. We have more stories than the lion tamers in Chester Zoo”
You can of course buy SKP001 - Town Bike’s debut album Go! Fight! Win! from our shop.
